This role is strictly for ERP Project Managers working for an ERP vendor or ERP consultancy / systems integrator. We are not seeking internal / end-user ERP Project Managers (e.g. delivery roles within organisations such as manufacturers, retailers, or corporates running ERP internally).
You must have experience delivering ERP projects for multiple external clients, as part of a vendor or consulting environment. Examples of suitable backgrounds include project management roles at ERP vendors or partners such as IFS, Infor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar enterprise software providers.
The Opportunity
We are working with a fast-growing ERP consultancy delivering complex, high-value ERP transformation programmes for mid-market and enterprise clients. This is a senior delivery role for an experienced ERP Project Manager who is used to operating in a vendor / consultancy environment, managing multiple concurrent ERP implementations and acting as the senior escalation point for clients. You’ll join the business at a key stage of growth, with real influence over delivery standards, governance, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementations for external clients, from initiation to go-live
- Manage multiple ERP projects simultaneously across different client accounts
- Own project scope, plans, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Act as the primary escalation point for client stakeholders
- Coordinate and manage internal consultants and delivery resources
- Drive delivery governance, reporting, and steering-group updates
- Manage change control and commercial impacts
- Continuously improve delivery processes and project standards
- Work closely with PMO, delivery leadership, and senior stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Proven ERP project management experience within an ERP vendor, partner, or consultancy
- Strong understanding of ERP delivery lifecycle and governance
- Comfortable managing senior client stakeholders and complex delivery challenges
- Experience running several projects in parallel in a fast-paced delivery environment
- End-user ERP project management experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
Key Attributes
- Clear, confident communicator with strong stakeholder presence
- Decisive, commercially aware, and delivery-focused
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and growth environments
- Strong judgement and escalation management skills
- Willing to challenge assumptions to achieve the right outcomes
What’s On Offer
- Competitive salary plus performance / profit-related bonus
- Contributory pension (up to 5%)
- Opportunity to shape ERP delivery in a growing consultancy
