Class 2 HGV Driver Leeds (West Yorkshire Routes)

£28,000 - £33,000 basic, overtime, annual bonus

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing, supplying the fabrication and signage marketplace. Backed by a global acrylic manufacturer, they offer a stable, well-run environment with low staff turnover and strong long-term opportunities.

THE ROLE

  • Multi-drop deliveries (typically 10-15 drops per day)
  • Consistent routes across West Yorkshire and surrounding areas
  • Core coverage includes Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax and wider Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire
  • Regular, structured routes with a strong proportion of repeat customers
  • No overnight stays; all routes are completed within the working day

HOURS & PAY

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:30am start, average finish 4:00pm to 4:30pm
  • 42.5 basic hours per week
  • All time beyond basic hours paid as overtime

THE PACKAGE

  • £28,000 - £33,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • Overtime paid on top

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC card
  • Ideally 2 years HGV driving experience (will consider 1 year for the right person)
  • Multi-drop experience preferred
  • Typically suited to candidates aged 25 (insurance purposes)
  • Professional, reliable and well presented
  • Clean driving licence preferred

Location: Leeds; applicants must be able to reliably commute or relocate.
