Internal Account Manager Account Growth & Relationship Sales

The Role Internal Account Manager

As an Internal Account Manager, youll be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of customers. This is a proactive, commercially focused role centred on account development, customer retention, and long-term relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts

  • Reignite dormant accounts and identify new revenue opportunities

  • Upsell and cross-sell within established client relationships

  • Proactively follow up on warm enquiries and inbound leads

  • Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email

  • Prepare tailored quotations and maintain accurate CRM records

  • Liaise with purchasing to ensure product availability

  • Produce clear sales reports for management
