About the Business
Our client is a growing ERP consultancy operating across the UK mid-market and enterprise space. They specialise in delivering ERP transformation programmes — including upgrades, optimisation, and cloud migration — and are entering a strong phase of commercial growth. As organisations reassess their existing ERP systems, the business is expanding its commercial team to capitalise on install base opportunities across the UK.
The Role
This is a commercial, outbound sales role focused on existing ERP users — not a cold-start market. You will engage organisations already running ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), identifying:
- Upgrade cycles
- Replacement opportunities
- Dissatisfaction with current vendors
- Cloud migration triggers
Your role is to open and qualify opportunities, building a high-quality pipeline for senior sales leadership to progress through to close. This is a strategic pipeline creation role, working closely with experienced closers on complex ERP deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage organisations currently using ERP systems
- Initiate outbound contact via phone, LinkedIn, and targeted outreach
- Speak with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and IT
- Understand ERP lifecycle position and commercial drivers
- Qualify opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
- Book high-quality meetings for the senior sales team
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline activity
Important – Experience Required
This role requires experience in ERP, SaaS, or enterprise software sales. You should have exposure to:
- ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics (or similar)
- Selling into mid-market or enterprise organisations
- Engaging senior decision-makers (CFO, COO, IT leadership)

- Experience in ERP / SaaS / enterprise software sales
- Background in account growth, install base, or new business sales
- Comfortable in a proactive, outbound sales environment
