Job Description Class 2 HGV Driver Darwen (North West & Scotland Routes)

£28,000 - £31,000 basic plus overtime and bonuses

Monday to Friday Permanent

If you're currently in a role that keeps you away from home most of the week and want something more structured with just 12 overnights and home every other night this could be a strong fit.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing, supplying the fabrication and signage marketplace. Backed by a global acrylic manufacturer, they offer a stable, well-run environment with low staff turnover and strong long-term opportunities.

  • Multi-drop deliveries (10-15 drops per day) North West, with Scotland runs 12 times per week (flexible to suit you)
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:15pm
  • All time outside standard hours paid as overtime
  • Scotland runs typically depart Monday (returning Tuesday) and Thursday (returning Friday), with overnight stays in a provided sleeper cab
  • £20 overnight allowance per night away
  • Overtime paid beyond standard hours
  • £100 monthly no-incident bonus
  • Annual discretionary bonus

  • Free on-site parking

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC card
  • Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience
  • Comfortable with 12 overnight stays per week (flexibility available)
  • Clean driving licence preferred

Location: Darwen, BB3 applicants must be able to reliably commute or relocate.
