A real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Group Consolidation Accountant to support a multi-entity finance function on a rolling contract.
The group has multiple entities operating in different jurisdictions, and this role will focus on the group consolidation, working closely with finance stakeholders.
The successful contractor will take ownership of the consolidation process, delivering accurate and timely group numbers for review by the Group Financial Controller, in line with IFRS reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of group consolidations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
• Collation, review and validation of financial information from local finance teams
• Managing intercompany balances, reconciliations and eliminations
• Applying and maintaining consistency with group accounting policies under IFRS
• Preparing consolidation schedules, workings and supporting documentation
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve consolidation and reporting queries
• Supporting period-end and reporting deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in group consolidation within a complex, multi-entity environment
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, particularly in a group reporting context
• Experience with intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear communication
