Absolute Recruit are proud to be supporting an established IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the City of London who are searching for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Architect. The Senior Infrastructure Architect will design, architect, and implement cutting‑edge IT solutions for a diverse clientele. This customer‑facing role offers the chance to shape IT systems for small and medium‑sized organisations.

The Senior Infrastructure Architect role involves evaluating customers’ IT solutions, documenting business and technical requirements, and presenting tailored solution options. You will design comprehensive IT architectures, including HLD and LLD, ensuring accuracy through thorough research and testing. Responsibilities include implementing and deploying IT infrastructure solutions, developing maintenance plans, delivering training, and handing over to operational teams, with occasional 3rd line support during office hours.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of designing and implementing on‑premise, private cloud, public cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS based solutions.
• Windows Server (including AD and GPO)
• Commercial aware and a strong understanding costing projects (TCO).
• Proficiency in Visio, Word, and Excel.
• Any AZ (Azure), AWS, Microsoft or VMware Certification would be highly advantageous.
