This highly respected accountancy practice is seeking a bookkeeper in the Outsourcing Department in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality financial information to a varied portfolio of clients.
The role involves day to day bookkeeping, management accounts VAT compliance.
The role is offered on a hybrid working patten.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients across various sectors.
Function as a first point of contact for day-to-day bookkeeping queries.
Where applicable, provide software training to clients (a common requirement in outsourcing roles).
Prepare schedules and supporting documents for monthly or quarterly management accounts.
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements Assist in year-end processing and the preparation of financial statements where required.
Experience with cloud and desktop accounting software is essential.
Xero, Quick Books, Sage, Dext etc Experience Qualifications 5/10 years of bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment.
Experience handling multi-client portfolios highly advantageous.
Experience in preparation of statutory accounts is advantageous but not essential.
