The Business:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic business with a strong presence in the leisure and hospitality sector. This independent SME is well established and offers sports facilities, a leisure and gym complex, meeting and conferences venues as well as party gatherings.
The Role:
You’ll oversee all aspects of the finance function—from day-to-day operations like payroll, invoicing, and accounts payable, to strategic contributions such as budgeting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for profit improvement. You will be the go-to finance expert, supporting the CEO and collaborating with non-financial managers to enhance business performance and deliver meaningful insights.
About You:
You’re experienced, detail-oriented, and confident working independently. You're passionate about using your financial expertise to make processes more efficient and to support decision-making at all levels.
Essential:
- Recognised accounting qualification or qualified by experience.
- Experience in payroll, reporting, and budgeting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage 50)
- Background in SME environments
