Join a fast-growing London post-production team, working on blockbuster films, hit TV, and award-winning UK & European productions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Accountant to join a vibrant and fast-growing team specialising in post production for high-end TV and film projects. You will support the day-to-day finance operations across multiple projects, working with major UK, US, and European studios. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their post production finance experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputting Purchase Orders and Accounts Payable into PSL, SmartAccounting, or Eclipse
- Managing digital filing systems using DocuSign, Nitro PDF, Box, Dropbox, and Google Drive
- Processing Purchase Orders via DPO, ezyPO, or SmartPO
- Posting journals and assisting with financial reporting
- Supporting payroll and timecard processes via Sargent Disc, EP, or TPH
- Assisting with VAT return preparation and ONS surveys
- Processing payment runs through online banking
- Managing tasks and workflows via Microsoft Teams
- Working across multiple projects while delivering clear, timely updates when needed
Key Skills
- Experience in production or post production finance preferred (TV, film, or broader media/entertainment industry)
- Strong bookkeeping knowledge; confidence with double entry accounting
- Skilled in Excel and/or experienced with management accounts
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet regular deadlines
- Experience supporting external audits is a plus
