We’re supporting a not-for-profit organisation in their search for a proactive Financial Accountant to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a values-driven environment, supporting the Finance Director with a broad range of finance and compliance responsibilities.
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, support the preparation of financial reports, and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
This role is offered on a remote basis and is hoping for a candidate to start as soon as possible/early May.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing routine finance operations including purchase invoices and supplier reconciliations
- Preparing bank payments and maintaining accurate ledger records
- Reconciling daily income receipts across QuickBooks and Salesforce
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end and year-end journals
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- Assisting in annual audits and maintaining balance sheet control accounts
- Acting as a point of contact for finance queries from staff, suppliers, and clients
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
- Experience within the charity or creative sector is a bonus but not essential
