Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the production of monthly management accounts and provide financial insight across a fast-paced media and marketing agency. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, and business analysis. This is a fixed term, 9 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Analyse financial data and provide reporting to support business decisions.
  • Support audit requirements and ad hoc finance projects.
  • Assist the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Analyst, or similar finance role.
  • Experience within a media, marketing, creative, or agency environment is essential.
  • Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
