Hands-on IT Manager owning infrastructure, systems and support, working directly with the COO in a stable, office-based role.
We’re recruiting an IT Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day IT technical operations within a growing, commercially focused organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the technology while supporting the wider business with reliable, well-run systems.
As IT Manager, you will act as the primary IT lead, supporting users across office and operational environments, resolving issues end to end, and maintaining core infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the COO and senior stakeholders, ensuring IT supports the business rather than slowing it down.
This position suits an IT Manager who comes from a strong infrastructure and support background and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves. While exposure to SQL and SAP Business One is desirable, it is not essential. What matters most is solid technical fundamentals and the confidence to take ownership of technical tasks.
The role is predominantly office-based, with occasional travel to another UK site, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Technical Environment:
- Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory
- Virtualised environments (Hyper-V)
- Backup and recovery solutions
- Network infrastructure and firewalls
- ERP systems including SAP Business One (desirable)
- SQL Server (desirable)
In return, the successful IT Manager will join a stable, supportive organisation offering strong benefits, generous holiday allowance, wellbeing support, and direct access to senior leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, technically capable IT professional looking for visibility, ownership, and long-term stability.
