Installations EngineerLondon/Home CountiesSalary: £25,000 – £30,000We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Installations Engineer to join our small, friendly team covering London and the Home Counties.As an Installations Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations, ensuring the best solutions for classroom AV, wireless, and cabling technology. Your experience working within an education setting (or similar) will be essential in providing tailored recommendations and installations for educational establishments.As the Installation Engineer, you will be working both independently and as part of a team to complete installations across various sites. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will build and maintain strong relationships with schools and colleagues. Professional communication is key, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. A technical understanding of cabling, wireless systems, network infrastructure, and classroom AV hardware is required.A CSCS card holder is preferred but not essential.Key Responsibilities as the Installations Engineer:
- Conducting site surveys and producing detailed reports with cost-effective recommendations.
- Leading installation projects for wireless equipment and network infrastructure.
- Installing interactive screens, boards, and projector systems.
- Managing cabling installation projects in educational settings.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues related to AV and networking.
- Installing hardware at new school sites.
