We're delighted to be supporting a well-established business in the search for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join them on an initial 8-week assignment.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function through a busy period, taking ownership of budgeting activity whilst providing hands-on financial support across the wider business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, can quickly add value, and is confident operating within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the business.
- Work closely with the Finance Director, providing financial insight and day-to-day support.
- Assist with management reporting and financial analysis.
- Review financial performance, highlighting trends and variances.
- Support month-end activities where required.
- Help improve financial processes and reporting where opportunities arise.
- Liaise with budget holders and operational teams to provide commercial financial support.
- Undertake ad hoc finance projects as required during the assignment.
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Finance Manager or within a similar hands-on finance role.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and non-finance colleagues.
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working across multiple priorities.
- Available to start at short notice.
