Finance Director opportunity with a High-Growth Retail Business. Are you a seasoned finance professional passionate about driving business success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment? We are partnering with a dynamic retail company in their search for a hands-on and strategic Finance Director.

About the Role

As the Finance Director, you will be working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to strategically support growth and the company's long-term objectives. This role is pivotal, overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring sound financial management, and driving profitable growth. You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring robust financial operations across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the finance department and manage all financial operations, including financial reporting, compliance, cash flow, financial analysis and tax matters.
  • Partner with the MD and senior management to provide commercial financial advice and formulate growth strategies and long-term plans.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop and implement robust systems, processes and financial controls.
  • Support the company managing corporate finance, debt, and equity investments and have the ability to present investment presentations and board meeting packs.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual accounts and manage external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, accounting, and tax requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team.

About You

  • Fully qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, wholesale and/or luxury fashion
  • Proven track record of leading finance departments in high-growth SME companies
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic insight
  • Strong analytical skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
