We are partnering with a well-established and growing property investment and development group, with a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial and specialist property assets. The business operates across multiple entities and continues to expand its investment and development activity in London and beyond. They are now looking to hire a Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting across a large multi-entity group and to play a key role in supporting senior stakeholders with insight, controls and compliance. This is a hands-on Finance Manager position with responsibility for both statutory and management reporting, working closely with the wider finance and property teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts and group consolidations across a large portfolio of entities, including commentary
- Production of statutory accounts and audit files, and acting as the main point of contact for auditors
- Oversight of VAT compliance, including partial exemption calculations
- Review of corporation tax computations and support with group tax planning
- Budgeting and forecasting across investment and development entities
- Monitoring bank covenants and supporting lender reporting requirements
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining key control schedules
- Producing rental income, cost and debtor reports in collaboration with property management teams
- Supporting company formations, strike-offs and regulatory filings
- Authorising payment runs and overseeing online banking processes
About you:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong background in statutory and management accounts
- Experience working in a multi-entity or group environment
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on role with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
