We are partnered with a well-established, growing City-based IT Consultancy and MSP looking to hire an experienced Senior Infrastructure Architect into a senior, customer-facing role. This position suits a Senior Infrastructure Architect from an IT MSP or Consultancy background, used to working across everything from legacy on-prem environments through hybrid estates to modern cloud-first platforms.
What you'll be doing:
- As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will work directly with customers to design infrastructure and cloud solutions that make technical and commercial sense.
- You'll own solution direction, produce clear HLDs and LLDs, and stay close to delivery to ensure designs translate into real-world outcomes.
- This is a hands-on architecture role that blends technical authority with strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness.
- You'll be comfortable working across:
- Hybrid infrastructure (on-prem, private cloud, public cloud)
- Azure and AWS as preferred cloud platforms
- Virtualisation and hosted desktop technologies
- Windows-based infrastructure and identity services
- Messaging and collaboration platforms
- Security, resilience, performance, and scalability
Given the MSP client base, the successful Senior Infrastructure Architect must be confident modernising mixed estates while supporting business-critical legacy systems.
