Are you looking to make the move from Practice to Industry? Are you currently working in an accountancy practice and looking for your first move into industry? This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, newly-qualified or 1-2 year PQE Accountant to join a PE-backed, multi-site group. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full finance cycle, from overseeing a junior FM, month-end, and year-end accounts.

A large portion of the role will require business partnering with both internal and external stakeholders. You will take ownership of the day-to-day and month-end financial processes for a portfolio of sites, acting as the go-to finance contact for each. This is a role with genuine variety, impact and visibility with a clear route for progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing/overseeing all-around bookkeeping across multiple entities
  • Preparing month-end management accounts, reconciliations and journals
  • Supporting variance analysis and providing insight into financial performance
  • Working directly with operational managers to help them understand financial results
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting VAT and compliance processes
