Main Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Managing and resolving any supplier invoice queries
- Sending regular reports to site teams and across departments
- Accurately coding and costing invoices to the correct nominal accounts
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing and coordinating weekly/monthly payment runs
- Assisting with posting payroll journals
- Consolidating cash book entries
- Preparing for and assisting with financial audits
- Managing employee expenses
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business or construction environment
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and payment processes
- Familiarity with Red Sky accounting software is highly desirable (training can be provided if needed)
- High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
