A fantastic opportunity to work with a growing, multi-fund real estate investment business within a multi-billion-pound asset management environment. The finance team supports a large portfolio of property entities and is looking for an Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant to help deliver a high volume of statutory accounts, group reporting and consolidations across multiple reporting frameworks. The role offers strong technical exposure, autonomy from day one and the chance to broaden your finance and reporting experience in a complex investment environment. Duties Prepare statutory financial statements across a large portfolio of property and group entities. Produce accounts under UK GAAP, including FRS 102, with exposure to FRS 101 and FRS 105 where applicable. Prepare and support IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures across relevant entities. Prepare consolidated accounts, including intercompany eliminations, goodwill, non-controlling interests and group cash flow statements. Use CaseWare Working Papers as the primary accounts preparation tool, managing data from trial balance through to finalised accounts. Maintain accurate, audit-ready working paper files and support consistency and efficiency across the accounts preparation process. Support reporting for Jersey-incorporated entities and work with local administrators or advisers where required. Liaise with finance teams, auditors and other stakeholders to resolve technical accounting queries and deliver accounts to deadline. Ideal candidate profile Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience with a strong statutory reporting background. Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on statutory accounts preparation experience using CaseWare. Strong practical knowledge of UK GAAP, particularly FRS 102. Ideally also have working knowledge of IFRS Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and understanding group reporting adjustments. Exposure to Jersey-incorporated entities and Jersey filing requirements is highly desirable. Highly organised and comfortable managing a high volume of entities and deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and the confidence to apply technical judgement independently. On offer Β£45,000 - Β£55,000 salary, depending on experience. Discretionary bonus and benefits package. Fully remote working, with occasional travel to London. Direct exposure to a technically interesting multi-fund real estate investment portfolio. Significant ownership and autonomy, with scope to take on broader finance responsibilities over time.
