An innovative fintech business based in West London is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the business supports global financial transactions across multiple currencies—including FX and crypto. Office based 4 days a week. Start date: ASAP. Hourly rate: £16-20ph.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of invoices accurately using Sun accounting software, across GBP, FX, and crypto currencies.
- Support Accounts Receivable by managing incoming payments and resolving billing queries.
- Prepare, schedule, and execute payments to vendors, including digital asset transactions.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers by managing enquiries and resolving discrepancies.
- Carry out regular reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance AP/AR efficiency.
Key Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
- Ability to work in high volume and fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience in fintech, FX, crypto, or financial services preferred.
- Proficient in Sun accounting software and Microsoft Excel (desirable).
- High attention to detail and accuracy with large transaction volumes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
