A well-established, family-orientated accountancy practice in Ware is looking to recruit an assistant to join their Tax team. This role cab be full or part time.
The role would suit someone with around two years’ experience working in an accountancy practice who is looking to develop their career in a stable and supportive environment.
You will be involved in:
- Preparing basic personal tax returns for clients
- Dealing with clients and assisting with queries
- Tax administration/dealing with HMRC
- CIS returns/refunds (training given)
- Covering for payroll as required (training given)
Required:
- 2 years dealing with basic tax returns
- Previous experience in an accountancy type business
- Able to commute to Ware (5 days in office)
Payroll experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided.
The key requirement is previous experience working within an accountancy practice, ideally around two years, together with good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
This is a five-day office-based role, so candidates must live locally to Ware and be comfortable working in the office every day.
