We are looking for self-employed Industrial Electricians to support our client with a strong pipeline of new and existing business throughout 2026 and 2027. There is guaranteed work for the right person. Our client is a Shropshire based business established two years ago, already successful and profitable. They are moving into their next period of growth and have a strong order book. They are looking for a pool of reputable contractors to ensure they are able to deliver the installation of electrical process control panels as well as general electrical work predominantly within the food manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.
A willingness to learn, positive attitude, great communication skills and reliability are all qualities that are required for these roles. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for additional work during otherwise quiet times or who is looking to develop new sub-contractor relationships.
Responsibilities:- Installation of electrical process control panels
- Installation of industrial electrical equipment
- UK travel and some overnight stays
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Experience working as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician
- A focus on electrical process installation would be beneficial
- Experience of wiring up valves and pumps would be beneficial
- Must have experience of commercial and industrial electrical work
- Happy to be away from home and travel across the UK
- Clean UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Own vehicle (essential)
- Own tools (essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a great ambassador for the business ensuring their reputation is maintained
- Hourly rate is £28 per hour – payment is made via CIS
