Our client is a market leader in the UK providing industry leading solutions and products to the egg industry. They are looking for the right person to join their team of UK Service Engineers. This role is all about supporting their client base across the UK and the work is varied including:

  • Installation of brand new machinery
  • Servicing and planned maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Providing telephone support to clients

A willingness to learn, positive attitude and honesty and integrity are key attributes our client is looking for. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a company that genuinely supports their people and delivers great service to their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • A willingness to attend service and support calls at short notice
  • Significant overnight stays and travel (up to 100 days per annum) - travel, accommodation and meal costs are met in full by our client
  • Installation of new machinery
  • Planned maintenance and repair
  • Emergency maintenance and repairs
  • Some overseas travel in the first 18 months for training and to install machinery

Candidate requirements:

  • A minimum of five years experience in a relevant field (for example automotive, agriculture, heavy plant, production and conveyors)
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
