Absolute Law Recruitment are working with our client based in Gravesend, Kent, who are seeking a professional, personable and customer-focused Front of House / Receptionist to join their busy office.
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a warm and professional first impression.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception, providing administrative support to colleagues, and delivering a high standard of client care at every interaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Previous legal or reception experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception & Client Care
- Provide a professional, friendly and welcoming reception service to clients and visitors.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Meet and greet clients and notify the relevant colleague of their arrival.
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for client meetings.
- Maintain reception, client waiting areas and meeting rooms to a high professional standard.
- Offer refreshments to clients and visitors where appropriate.
- Administrative Support
- Open, sort, scan and distribute incoming post to the relevant departments and colleagues.
- Prepare outgoing post and arrange courier collections where required.
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, printing and document preparation.
- Provide general administrative support to colleagues across the office.
- Order and maintain office stationery and supplies.
- Support other office locations when required.
