Supported by a network of over 21,000 qualified linguists, we deliver a comprehensive range of services, including translation, interpreting, transcription, website localisation, proofreading, and easy-read solutions, in over 400 languages worldwide, serving a wide range of sectors.
We are currently seeking hybrid freelance interpreters across Exeter and surrounding areas to join our growing network of language professionals. As a Freelance Interpreter, you will provide high-quality interpretation services in professional settings, supporting clear and effective communication between parties in person and remotely. You must be fluent in English and at least one other language.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering accurate spoken interpretation in a professional and impartial manner, ensuring meaning, tone, and cultural nuances are clearly conveyed.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to professional standards at all times.
- Adapting to a variety of settings, including legal, medical, business, and community environments.
Interpreters required in Exeter and surrounding areas. Urgent languages needed include Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Bambara, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Cantonese, Czech, Dari, Gujrati, Indonesian, Italian, Kurdish, Hungarian, Igbo, Lithuanian, Nepali, Mandarin, Oromo, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Farsi, Tamil, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Urdu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. We are recruiting for other languages as well.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and in one or more languages.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Successful applicants will need to hold or apply for an Enhanced DBS Check.
