Absolute Childcare is recruiting for a lovely family based in Parsons Green, who is seeking a qualified Teacher with UK experience in Reception or Key Stage 1, to care for their 3 year old daughter, after school. Monday to Thursday. (3pm - 7.30pm) and Friday (3pm - 6pm)
Additional hours available for some of the school holidays, paid in addition.
The salary reflects an experienced, degree-educated, qualified applicant with teacher status and UK experience.
The family will also consider experienced Teaching Assistants with strong working knowledge of a UK school setting (Reception, KS1).
This is a proactive, educational role requiring genuine planning and initiative β ideal for someone who enjoys structuring learning through play, while also being happy to follow the child's interests as they explore the world around them.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework is essential, along with the ability to engage the child through play-based learning. The focus is on helping the child settle confidently into school life this September and support going forward.
Huge focus on reading and learning through imaginary play.
You will be proactive and be able to manage your time and responsibilities in a warm, professional manner.
Hours: 3pmβ7.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 3pm - 6pm Friday. Additional hours for some of the school holidays, the family travel for much of the school holidays. Any extra hours will be paid.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher (or very experienced Teaching Assistant) with supporting references
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Reception/KS1 curriculum - England
- Experience working in England in Reception/KS1

- Fully enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service
