An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a professional, warm, and energetic Live-In Nanny to join a lovely family based in Queen’s Park (NW10). This is a highly desirable role caring for two active, fun-loving boys aged 5 and 6 who enjoy getting out and about.
The household is professional yet warm; both parents work, with Mum working from home twice a week. The family are looking for a proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys the company of school-aged children and can provide a stable, "fun" environment while maintaining an organised routine.
The Schedule (4-Day Week)
- Working Days: Monday to Thursday.
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM.
- The Perk: Enjoy a full 3-day weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off)—ideal for a nanny who values their own downtime or travel.
- Babysitting: One night per week (Mon–Thu) plus one evening per month by arrangement with notice.
Duties & Responsibilities
This is a sole-charge role where you will be responsible for the boys' daily well-being, including:
- Morning & School Routines: Managing the "school run" (a short drive from the home).
- Education: Providing homework and reading support; helping the boys engage with their learning.
- Healthy Living: Menu planning and preparation of nutritious meals for the children.
- Nursery Duties: Maintaining the children’s bedrooms, laundry, and child related admin and organisation.
- Holiday Care: Providing full-day care during school holidays (within the Mon-Thu schedule).
The Candidate
The family is seeking a candidate with professional childcare experience, a strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude. Previous experience as a live-in nanny is highly preferred.
- Driving: An absolute essential. You must be a confident driver with a clean UK license (a car is provided for work use).
- Language: Fluent English is required to support the boys with literacy and schoolwork.
- Character: You should be kind, warm, and super-organised. Excellent references are a must.
Living Arrangements
Accommodation consists of a lovely, private double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom, providing plenty of privacy. This is a pet-free home.
