We require an ERP Systems Owner who is responsible for overseeing and managing the systems and applications that interact with the ERP system during an ERP rollout. This role ensures that all surrounding systems are properly integrated, function seamlessly with the ERP system, and that data flows accurately and efficiently between systems. The Surrounding System Owner also ensures that these systems are aligned with the overall ERP implementation strategy and organizational objectives.

- System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing surrounding systems functionalities, dependencies, and data flows. Work with ERP implementation teams to design integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with ERP project managers and other stakeholders to align surrounding system activities with the overall project plan. Ensure that surrounding systems are ready for integration and deployment according to the project timeline. Monitor the progress of surrounding system-related activities and provide regular updates to the project team.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate the integration of surrounding systems with the ERP system. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for surrounding systems to meet user requirements and expectations.
- Data Management: Ensure that data exchanged between the ERP system and surrounding systems is accurate, consistent, and secure. Monitor data quality and integrity throughout the ERP rollout process.
- Change Management: Collaborate with change management teams to ensure that changes to surrounding systems are communicated and managed effectively. Provide training and support to users and administrators of surrounding systems.
- Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for surrounding systems after ERP go-live. Monitor system performance and integration points to identify and address any issues.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that surrounding systems comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Implement security measures to protect data and system integrity during and after the ERP rollout. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and security.
Design:
- Identify and document all surrounding systems that will interact with the ERP system.
