A bit about the role

You will be the UK's dedicated recruitment specialist, owning hiring from workforce plan to first day. Much of our hiring is for experienced SAP consultants, a competitive and specialist market, so the role goes beyond filling vacancies.

You will build a pipeline of talent before we need it, sharpen how we present ourselves as an employer, and use data to make hiring faster and better. Working closely with the HR Manager, UK leadership and our global recruitment team, you will make Applexus UK the place great SAP people want to join and stay.

What you'll be doing

Recruitment delivery

• Own UK hiring end to end, from hiring manager intake to offer and start date.
• Proactively headhunt passive candidates through LinkedIn, networks and referrals, reducing our reliance on agencies.
• Carry out initial screening and fit assessment against role scorecards and our grade framework, so Pod Leaders spend their time only on strong, well‑matched candidates.
• Support Skilled Worker hiring in line with our UK Sponsor Licence duties and deliver a consistently strong candidate experience.

Employer brand and EVP

• Shape the UK EVP and employer brand with HR, turning it into recruitment content for LinkedIn, our careers site and events.
• Run and promote the employee referral programme.

Workforce planning and talent pipelining

• Work with Delivery and Sales leaders on workforce planning, turning UK plans into recruitment plans.
• Build talent pools for hard‑to‑fill SAP roles and develop a graduate pipeline.
• Map the market for key skills, competitor talent and salary benchmarks.

Data, process and reporting

• Report monthly recruitment metrics to UK leadership, including time to hire, cost per hire, source effectiveness and quality of hire.
• Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers, and use it to keep improving our recruitment process.

Stakeholder partnership

• Partner with hiring managers and UK leadership on role design, market conditions and selection decisions.
• Act as the UK link to the global brand, recruitment and skills teams, and champion fair, inclusive practice.

What we want from you

• Proven full‑cycle recruitment experience, in‑house, RPO or agency, ideally in technology, consulting or professional services.
• A track record of headhunting for specialist and senior roles, with strong use of LinkedIn and your own networks.
• Sound knowledge of UK recruitment practice, including right‑to‑work, UK GDPR and fair selection.
• The communication skills and credibility to influence senior hiring managers.
• Highly organised and comfortable using data, managing several live vacancies at once.
• Proactive: you find talent before roles open and fix problems without being asked.
• Commercially minded and collaborative across the UK and global teams.
• Adaptable, discreet and candidate‑focused.

Desirable

• Experience recruiting SAP, ERP or IT consultants, or a consulting background of your own.
• Exposure to employer branding, workforce planning or Skilled Worker sponsorship.
• A degree, CIPD or recruitment qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
