Graduate Data Migration Consultant in Aberdeen

A bit about the role: You may ask – what is SAP? SAP, which stands for Systems, Applications, and Products, is a powerful software system that helps businesses manage their operations efficiently. It acts like a digital brain, organising everything from finances and inventory to customer relationships. With SAP, companies can make smarter decisions, streamline their processes, and grow more effectively.

In this role, you will support the delivery of data migration activities across a range of specialised modules, including FICO, SCM, and HCM. You will work closely with senior consultants to assist in transforming, validating, and migrating data during customer implementation projects. This is a development-focused position, and we will provide full training, mentoring, and opportunities to progress your career within data consulting.

What we want from you: We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, methodical, and passionate about working with data. You don't need industry experience - just the right attitude and an eagerness to learn. The ideal candidate would possess the following:

• A relevant degree in (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in data and technology.
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Willingness to learn data migration methodologies and project delivery practices.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, problem‐solving mindset.
• Exposure to working with datasets through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning.
• Understanding or interest in functional areas such as Finance (FICO), Supply Chain (SCM), or HR/HCM.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes across projects.
• Work collaboratively with senior migration consultants and project teams.
• Assist in analysing client data quality, structure, and readiness for migration.
• Help build and maintain migration templates, mapping documents, and validation reports.
• Support testing activities and help troubleshoot data‐related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and documentation.
• Develop knowledge across key modules including FICO, SCM, and HCM (training provided).
