A bit about the role: As an Account Executive at Absoft, youâll be the key link between our customers and internal teams, building strong, trusted relationships and ensuring their needs are met. Youâll manage contractual and commercial requirements, coordinate crossâfunctional teams, and lead strategic conversations that go beyond transactions â helping to drive renewals and identify opportunities for growth.
Weâre looking for someone who thrives on collaboration and has a passion for understanding customer needs. If you have experience in account management or business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly, youâll fit right in. A background in technology or software is a bonus, but most importantly, youâll bring commercial awareness, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to delivering value for our clients.
What youâll be doing: Key tasks and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Own, develop and maintain key client relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, identifying growth opportunities and aligning solutions to evolving client needs.
- Manage and maintain contractual and commercial requirements within assigned accounts.
- Perform account planning, coordinating with preâsales, project managers, and consultants to ensure alignment of projects and ongoing work.
- Drive commercial success by spotting white space opportunities.
- Coordinate crossâfunctional customer teams.
- Coordinate and prepare highâquality proposals and manage large scale bids and tenders when required.
- Manage customer review sessions alongside preparing and presenting reports to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
What we want from you: Account management/business development/customer service experience is advantageous. An interest and drive to acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements. Experience collaborating with internal teams (preâsales, project management, consultants). Experience in managing customer renewals and nurturing endâtoâend relationships with multiple levels of an organisation. Ability to quickly adapt to changing customer needs. Ability to serve as the link between the customer and the internal team, to establish and expand trust with key stakeholders. Experience working in a technology or software company is desirable. Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good time management. Ability to plan work, organise own workload, and engage others in a timely manner. Deadline driven and selfâmotivated. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
