As a member of our Applications Development team, you will work on creating and optimizing applications for our proprietary analytical platform, Amperia. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of chemists, biotechnologists, physicists, and engineers to develop innovative solutions that advance protein analysis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of groundbreaking work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The position is based in Cambridge, UK.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise assays and applications based on Amperia
  • Plan activities guided by senior scientists, and execute independently
  • Work together with the Science team to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Carry out manufacturing procedures of explorative runs of new biosensors and reagents
  • Analyse data independently, write experimental reports and communicate results

Minimum requirements:

  • MSc in Biochemistry or related field
  • Lab experience and handling of protein samples
  • Experience with one or more of the following: ELISA, SPR, BLI, or other binding assays
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of Matlab or Python is a plus
