An AS9100-accredited precision engineering business in Willenhall, West Midlands is looking for a skilled 5-Axis CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator for its night shift. The company produces high-specification components for the aerospace, defence, automotive and energy sectors, working to the most demanding quality standards.
The role:
- Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines on Heidenhain controls
- Proving out and editing programmes from engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances, right first time
- First-off and in-process inspection
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven CNC milling experience - ideally 5-axis, programming, setting and operating
- Heidenhain controls experience (strong multi-axis millers who programme on other controls considered)
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances
- A background in aerospace, defence or high-spec precision manufacturing
In return:
- Permanent night shift Mon-Thu 8:45pm-7:30am (39 hours)
- £18.50-£24.66 per hour depending on experience (inclusive of shift premium)
- Established, AS9100-accredited business with genuinely challenging aerospace work
- Commutable from Willenhall, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Wednesbury, West Bromwich and surrounding areas.
