NC Programmer / Production Engineer 5-Axis Hypermill (Motorsport) Location: Oxfordshire Permanent, full-time Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience) ABS Talent is recruiting a CNC Programmer / Production Engineer on behalf of a leading motorsport engineering client in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an elite, fast-paced machine shop working on small-batch and one-off prototype components to the highest standards. The role is broader than pure programming you'll be producing CNC programs while also playing a key part in the day-to-day running of the machine shop, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and ownership. Producing CNC programs (Hypermill 5-axis) with supporting tool lists, setup sheets and fixture design Helping run the day-to-day machine shop scheduling and pricing of work Maintaining TPM records, weekly maintenance sheets and coordinating machine servicing Ordering tools and consumables, and managing the tool vending inventory Minimum 3 years' Hypermill (Open Mind) CAD/CAM, 5-axis, programming complex parts to a high standard A machining background including batch and prototype work Confident reading engineering drawings with GD&T A team player who enjoys the broader production side, not just programming Permanent role with a world-class motorsport engineering business Varied role with genuine ownership across programming and production Career development in an elite manufacturing environment Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
