Job Description CNC Programmer / Production Engineer – 5-Axis Hypermill (Motorsport) \n Location: Oxfordshire \n Job type: Permanent, full-time \n Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience) \n The opportunity \n ABS Talent is recruiting a CNC Programmer / Production Engineer on behalf of a leading motorsport engineering client in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an elite, fast-paced machine shop working on small-batch and one-off prototype components to the highest standards. \n The role is broader than pure programming — you'll be producing CNC programs while also playing a key part in the day-to-day running of the machine shop, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and ownership. \n The role \n \n Producing CNC programs (Hypermill 5-axis) with supporting tool lists, setup sheets and fixture design \n Helping run the day-to-day machine shop — scheduling and pricing of work \n Liaising with designers, buyers and customers \n Maintaining TPM records, weekly maintenance sheets and coordinating machine servicing \n Ordering tools and consumables, and managing the tool vending inventory \n Completing structures and routings in the ERP system for accurate job packs \n \n About you \n \n Minimum 3 years' Hypermill (Open Mind) CAD/CAM, 5-axis, programming complex parts to a high standard \n A machining background including batch and prototype work \n Confident reading engineering drawings with GD
