CNC Turner / Programmer Fanuc Location: Romsey Job type: Permanent, full-time Salary: £45,000 The opportunity ABS Talent is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer on behalf of a well-established precision engineering client. This is a permanent, hands-on role for a skilled turner who can programme, set and operate CNC lathes to a high standard, producing precision components to tight tolerances. Our client is a stable, respected engineering business with a well-equipped machine shop and a supportive team a great home for a turner who takes pride in quality work. The role Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines (Fanuc controls) Producing precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances Working across twin-turret and twin-spindle lathes Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes for quality and efficiency In-process and final inspection using precision measuring equipment Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area About you Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator Confident programming on Fanuc controls (manual programming an advantage) Experience on twin-turret / twin-spindle lathes (Doosan or similar) Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused, reliable approach Time-served or relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ) welcomed What's on offer Permanent position with a stable, established engineering firm Salary £45,000 Overtime opportunities / benefits The chance to join a quality-focused machine shop for the long term Interested?
