This is a fantastic opportunity to join an elite, fast-paced machine shop working on small-batch and one-off prototype components to the highest standards.The role is broader than pure programming you'll be producing CNC programs while also playing a key part in the day-to-day running of the machine shop, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and ownership.The roleProducing CNC programs (Hypermill 5-axis) with supporting tool lists, setup sheets and fixture designHelping run the day-to-day machine shop scheduling and pricing of workLiaising with designers, buyers and customersMaintaining TPM records, weekly maintenance sheets and coordinating machine servicingOrdering tools and consumables, and managing the tool vending inventoryCompleting structures and routings in the ERP system for accurate job packsAbout youMinimum 3 years' Hypermill (Open Mind) CAD/CAM, 5-axis, programming complex parts to a high standardA machining background including batch and prototype workConfident reading engineering drawings with GD&TProactive and reliable under deadline pressureA team player who enjoys the broader production side, not just programmingWhat's on offerPermanent role with a world-class motorsport engineering businessVaried role with genuine ownership across programming and productionCareer development in an elite manufacturing environmentSalary up to £55,000 depending on experienceInterested?
