  • Programming CNC machining centres using Hypermill CAD/CAM software — including 5-axis toolpath development
  • Setting up and proving programmes on Mazak machining centres
  • Producing high-precision metallic components to tight tolerances
  • Spending time on the shop floor proving programmes and overseeing machine operation
  • Working closely with the engineering team to optimise machining strategies and efficiency

Candidate

  • Essential:
  • Proven CNC programming experience using Hypermill
  • Experience setting and operating Mazak machining centres
  • Strong understanding of 3-axis and 5-axis machining strategies
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Detail-focused with a commitment to quality and precision
  • Desirable:
  • Hypermill 5-axis qualification or equivalent
  • Background in high-performance, motorsport, aerospace, or marine manufacturing
