The Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established sheet metal fabrication business based in Haverhill. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Powder Coater to their team on a permanent basis.
The Role
- Powder coating of metal components to a high and consistent finish
- Preparation of metal surfaces — cleaning, etching, masking, and hanging
- Operating and maintaining powder coating equipment
- Colour matching and finish quality checks
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in line with H&S standards
The Candidate
- Previous experience in powder coating is essential
- Knowledge of metal preparation processes (cleaning, etching, sandblasting)
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work at pace in a production environment
- Experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment is advantageous
