We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and flourishing precision sub-contract machining business based in Dudley. This is a genuinely stable, growing manufacturer with a strong order book and a skilled, close-knit team — and they are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join them on a permanent day shift.

The role:
- Setting, programming and operating CNC milling machines and horizontal borers
- Medium to large milling and boring work in a precision sub-contract environment
- Working confidently from engineering drawings — machining symbols, tolerances and geometric tolerances
- Checking your own work using measuring equipment including micrometers and slip gauges
- Working as part of a small, skilled team and supporting the wider needs of the business as required
What we're looking for:
- Proven medium to large milling and boring experience
- Heidenhain programming preferred — Fanuc knowledge also beneficial
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and geometric tolerancing
- Confident setting and programming, not just operating
- Experience within a sub-contract machining environment
- An engineering apprenticeship, CNC machining qualification, or proven demonstrable experience
- Reliable, flexible and takes pride in producing quality work
