ABS Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our clients based in the Preston area. This is a temp to perm position. As a Class 2 multi drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our clients in a safe and timely manner.
New Passes welcome. Immediate start. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver who enjoys working independently and has a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities- Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Valid Class 2 driving license.
- Proven experience as a multi drop driver.
- Excellent knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple deliveries.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must have no more than 9 points on licence.
