We are supporting a leading UK infrastructure delivery organisation to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, well-backed business operating within the electrical and utilities sector, delivering large-scale infrastructure frameworks across the UK. Following a series of recent contract wins, the organisation is expanding its operational capability and investing heavily in leadership to support continued growth.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a defined workstream within the business, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will lead teams of Project Managers and delivery personnel across active frameworks, driving performance across:

  • Health, safety, and compliance
  • Programme delivery and productivity
  • Cost control and commercial performance
  • Quality and customer satisfaction

You will act as a senior operational lead, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring robust delivery standards across your area of responsibility.

About You

We are looking for an experienced leader from within the power, utilities, construction or infrastructure sector, with a strong background in operational delivery. You will likely have:

  • Electrical / engineering / construction background (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience in Operations, Project or Contract Management
  • Proven leadership of teams within a delivery environment
  • Strong commercial awareness (cost, programme, risk, quality)
  • IOSH Managing Safety (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within frameworks or regulated project environments
  • Experience up to 132kV electrical environments would be highly advantageous.
