About the Role
ABS Commercial Solutions is recruiting Quantity Surveyors across the UK to support a growing portfolio of utilities and infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to broaden their experience, work across diverse infrastructure projects and develop their career within a supportive commercial consultancy.
Working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, you'll play an important role in ensuring contractual compliance, maintaining commercial controls and supporting effective cost management. The role offers a balance of autonomous working and collaboration with operational teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
Working arrangements will depend on the individual project and client requirements, with opportunities available across different UK locations.
Key Responsibilities
Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers with day-to-day commercial management and reporting.
Ensure contractual compliance, commercial validation and accurate financial reporting.
Manage post-contract commercial processes, including change management, cost forecasting, payments and final accounts.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
Produce and maintain accurate commercial data, cost reports and contractual records.
Support the negotiation and resolution of commercial claims, disputes and contractual issues.
Work collaboratively with operational teams, clients and senior stakeholders to ensure commercial requirements are met.
Assist with procurement activities, tender documentation and the evaluation of commercial submissions.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks while ensuring value for money across projects.
Attend client and commercial performance meetings as required. xgikmsk
Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
