We are looking for an experienced Civils Supervisor to lead teams delivering EV infrastructure projects across commercial sites in Scotland. This is a hands-on role overseeing multiple projects from allocation through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Previous EV experience is desirable but not essential. What matters most is proven civils/site supervision experience, strong health and safety knowledge, and the ability to manage teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise teams on-site, ensuring all work meets company and client standards
- Manage multiple projects safely and efficiently, ensuring milestones, budgets, and timelines are met
- Conduct daily and weekly site inspections, reporting findings to the QSHE department
- Lead toolbox talks and identify learning opportunities for new safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with all current legislation including HASAWA, NRASWA, COSHH, CDM regulations, and HAUC guidelines
- Plan and coordinate labour, plant, and materials to maintain project progress
- Represent the company with clients, maintaining excellent working relationships
- Monitor quality, health and safety, and performance of teams on-site
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing remedial actions
- Degree or equivalent in civil or electrical engineering, or demonstrable experience in civils site supervision
- Experience managing teams of operatives on highways or civils projects
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and practical site implementation
- NRASWA certification
- First Aid, Manual Handling, and Health and Safety awareness certificates
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
- Valid UK driving licence
- Project Management qualification
- Experience on EV infrastructure or utilities projects
- Knowledge of CDM and HAUC regulations
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware, customer-focused, and able to develop others
- Ability to work independently while supporting wider team objectives
This role will involve travel across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Inverness, and surrounding areas, so flexibility is essential.
