Job Responsibilities:- Process customer purchases quickly and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, card, and alternative payment transactions with accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest queries politely and professionally
- Maintain a tidy and organised till area
- Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with gift wrapping, packaging, and upselling store services
- Report discrepancies or suspicious activities to the supervisor
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure seamless customer service
- GCSEs or equivalent required
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong numerical and communication skills
- Friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions during peak periods
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
- Competitive salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per year
