We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Financial Reporting and Business Partnering team, focusing on assets and liabilities. The role involves close collaboration with the wider Finance team, contributing to high‑quality, accurate and timely financial reporting, including annual statutory financial statements, monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
Work location: Eastleigh office (SO50 6AD). Minimum three days a week onsite. Remaining days flexible online or in another office.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with colleagues across finance to deliver accurate and timely statutory statements, management accounts and forecasts.
- Contribute to budgeting and monthly reporting cycles.
- Provide insights that aid monitoring and improvement of financial performance.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in a corporate finance team (outside of practice). Housing sector knowledge is a bonus.
- Fully qualified or actively working towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proactive, dependable, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
