We are responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out major improvement works to our customers’ homes ranging from kitchen renewals and bathroom replacements to roof replacement and insulation. Our cyclical works include ensuring the safety of properties by undertaking periodic inspections of items such as passenger lifts and electrical installations. In addition, our team of Contract Surveyors specifies and implements a variety of special project works throughout the year, delivering solutions for more complex issues.
Are you proactive, highly motivated, professional, and friendly? We have an exciting opportunity for three Decorators to join our communal decorations team, working across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out internal communal decorations and external decorations, which includes a full washdown of the properties. Since our customers are at the heart of everything we do, excellent customer service skills are essential. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly and regularly with customers, always aiming to go above and beyond to impress them with the quality of our service.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Completing scheduled work to a high standard within the allocated time
- Ensuring cost-effective delivery
- Pre-ordering materials when needed
- Keeping the customer informed of progress at every step
You’ll be a key part of the team, working efficiently and effectively to maintain and improve Abri’s properties, always following best practices in building maintenance. As an ambassador for Abri, you’ll bring a positive, ‘can do’ attitude to everything you do, delivering a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service with a friendly and professional approach.
We’ll provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet & mobile, as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools. You'll be required to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis, so a clean driving license is a must! We hold monthly talks where all Trades can attend to highlight what’s going on within Abri and provide information on processes. Please note - while some experience or qualifications may reference tiling, tiling is not required as part of this role.
