We're looking for two new Customer Care Administrators to join our Customer Care teams (one position based in Eastleigh and one based in Bracknell) on a permanent basis to play a key role in supporting homeowners throughout their new home journey. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work closely with customers, contractors, and colleagues to help ensure every customer receives a first-class experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing essential administrative support to the Customer Care team while helping to ensure customer enquiries, defects, warranty claims, and appointments are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Supporting the Customer Care team with a wide range of administrative tasks.
- Coordinating appointments and managing diaries for the team.
- Liaising with customers, contractors, and internal colleagues to ensure effective communication and excellent service.
- Monitoring shared mailboxes and defect management systems to help meet service level agreements.
- Maintaining accurate records and producing reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Assisting with customer complaints, warranty claims, and information requests.
- Making customer follow-up calls and helping to keep customers updated throughout the process.
- Supporting projects, data management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional, friendly, and empathetic approach.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive, and solution-focused mindset, with a genuine desire to help customers and resolve issues effectively.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and databases.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of your own workload.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Previous administrative experience within a customer-focused environment, or equivalent transferable experience.
- Knowledge of housing, construction, or new-build homes would be advantageous, although a willingness to learn is just as important.
